I am a social worker with a strong interpersonal and relational practice style, grounded in empathy, clear communication, and thoughtful engagement with diverse populations. My work focuses on providing client-centred, trauma-informed therapeutic support to individuals navigating mental health concerns, emotional distress, grief, oncology and palliative care, and significant life stressors. I am skilled in one-to-one counselling, supporting emotional processing, strengthening coping skills, and using narrative and supportive therapeutic approaches to help clients navigate periods of vulnerability and transition. My practice emphasizes emotional attunement, flexibility, and collaboration.

I hold a Master of Social Work from Dalhousie University (2024), a Bachelor of Social Work (2018), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology (2016) from St. Thomas University. My professional experience spans hospital, community, and social service settings, including providing therapeutic support in oncology and palliative care programs, mental health and addiction services, and child protection. I have facilitated individual and group counselling, crisis intervention, and narrative therapy, and have completed specialized training in suicide intervention (ASIST), trauma-informed practice, and palliative care, continuing to pursue professional development to strengthen my skills in supporting clients through complex emotional and life challenges.
