Jeff is a highly skilled clinical therapist who draws upon over 19 years of experience and training in the areas of addiction, mental health, relationships, and emotional resiliency.  He works with individuals, couples, families, groups and children ages 10 plus.

Jeff is a Masters level Social Worker and registered in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. He received a bachelor’s degree in Community Studies at Cape Breton University. Jeff then gained his Bachelors and Master’s degree in social work from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. Jeff also has his Certification in Negotiation and Conflict Management from Henson College and Dalhousie Law School.

Jeff has worked in the public sector for over 19 years with Addiction and Mental Health Services as a clinician, program and team lead of various portfolios as well as program development. In addition, he has been a clinical therapist for over 16 years in private practice.  Jeff assists his clients in his practice through Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy, Trauma Informed approaches and Motivational Interviewing. Jeff is also trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) through the Linehan Institute and Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) through the Ministry of Children and Family Development of British Columbia and Fraser health.

Jeff has a network approach to provide his clients services who may experience complex psychiatric issues, diagnosed and undiagnosed, such as but not limited to Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Early Psychosis, Bipolar Disorders and Schizophrenia that includes collaboration with family physicians, psychiatry and other health professionals.
